Dear Volunteers, Adopters, and Supporters,
As we start the last quarter of the year, we find we are outpacing ourselves from last year which is both good and bad.
The conditions of dogs finding their way to us need more and more medical help because of neglect and injury. We are currently trying to pay off medical expenses for the 50 dogs taken in during August (22), September (20) and October (8 ). Basic vetting averages $225 for spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm/fecal testing and dental cleanings so at minimum, we incurred $11,250. Additional expenses we have experienced are:
Now comes the PLEA for MONEY. We need $7000 to pay the rest of Aug and Sept expenses and another $4000 to clear our October debts with our wonderful and understanding vets.
In Summary -
Tzu Zoo Rescue Volunteers, Adopters and Supporters
Please help where you can and encourage others to do so as well. This is a great rescue who gives less adoptable dogs the chance to flourish and eventually add joy to a family.
A special thank you to those who give regularly. You help us sustain every month. Each and every donation makes a difference.
Join us in November for All God's Creatures Day. Click here for flyer. All proceeds will go to the rescues participating.
Sincerely,
Lynda Leazure
