"George had only been with us for a few short weeks. He came to us from a shelter and crippled in his back end. He was in a tremendous amount of pain not only in his spine but in his neck. He did not let that stop him though. He used his front legs to motor around and there were times that he could beat me to a spot. I was always amazed at that. I fully believe that he was tormented all his life by his prior humans and because of that, he had turned aggressive. His autoimmune system was also trashed. Because he was in so much pain and because of so many issues, we thought it best to release him of his bondage. I am still wrestling with the fact that he did not have a good life prior to rescue. He was such a beautiful strawberry blond Lhasa boy and could have, with the proper training and guidance, been a wonderful companion for any family. I pray the Lord will keep him safe until I can see him again ..."
